September 2005 -áá Converse continues to offer wonderfully exciting new shoes each season.á Watch for incoming products about every 2 weeks.á The colors and patterns just get better and better.

Will Smith helped design the I Robot shoe out of the gorgeous soft glove leather last year.á We were one of very few stores allowed to offer that product.á It was so successful; Converse is making the shoe again.á This is one great shoe - warmer for winter since it is leather.á

The current movie shoe is Batman.á It is another gorgeous leather show with a great very subtle bat spreading its wings from the back spine across to the counters toward the ankle bone.á This has been another very popular shoe.

News of Downtown Madison - After two summers of total chaos due to construction, we are finally seeing the results of all of the hard work.á If you are near Madison, it is worth a trip to Jack's Shoes to see the new multi million dollar art district right across the street.á This is being built with the largest donation by a single person in history, according to local news.á It is a fantastic facility and worth touring.

We continue to learn more and more about running a website.á Things change so quickly and there is so much to learn, it is overwhelming.á But it is fun to hear so many of you so happy with our service and the great shoes.á Enjoy!

May 2003: Converse has shown some fantastic new products over the last year. However, deliveries from Converse have become so delayed, we have been forced to remove any future pre-ordering from Jack's Shoes Website. We will post new product as soon as any part of the style is received.

We appreciate your patience while we continue to receive product for previous pre-orders. We will ship orders the same day product is received into our store.

We will have a UPS confirmation letter sent for all UPS shipments. This will be sent to the email you provided with your order and will let you know your order is on its way to you. This delivery notice will include the tracking number so you may track your package if you wish.

On behalf of everyone at Jack's Shoes, we appreciate your patience and support while we get through the delivery delays. Hopefully the new site set up will avoid these problems in the future.

April 2002: Website update - You may notice some changes to our site. We welcome UniteU as our new Web Host. Many thanks go to Rebecca, Monica, and Jacqui who all worked hard to help our site remain as similar as possible, yet include some nice features as well. We are still learning how to use this software and will continue to make positive changes as we proceed.

Many thanks also to the staff at RTI who helped us get our website started and integrated into our inventory. Everyone worked hard to bring you this wonderful secure shopping site.

Converse Update: The Spring 2002 shoes are coming in daily. While some delays are still expected, it appears products will be shipped as ordered. Soon I will be adding the Fall 2002 information. Where does the time go?

Spring 2002: We continue to work on our website and expect more changes soon. Converse spring styles have begun delivering. You will be notified if your order has unexpected delays in shipments from Converse.

"Pardon our dust" while we are adding enhancements to the website. Please remember data is polling several times a day, but your size could still be sold in the store between polling cycles. If you happen to visit while we are uploading, navigation might seem a bit slower than usual. Please wait a couple of minutes and it should resolve.

Fall 2001 - We are extremely excited to report we have new Chuck Taylors arriving daily. Please check the Newest Arrivals section often for the latest colors arriving. If you notice stock numbers without images, we are posting the latest arrivals to the website so you will know which stock numbers are here. We appreciate your patience while we get the photos and other details posted.

Email responses to your orders: When your order arrives, if all ordered items are not in stock, we are responding by email or phone with the current stock availability. This allows us to give you the up to the minute status of our stock and the new arrivals. This means, in addition to your email order confirmation, which lets you know your order has been started, if we don't have all of the items you ordered in stock, you may also receive an email message or a phone call relating the current stock available in your ordered size(s).

January 2001 - Converse announced filing chapter 11 reorganization. We have been in contact with them and have been assured our current orders are shipping.

We have product to ship, but not necessarily all colors in all sizes. Please place your orders and we will be in contact with you if we don't have all of your order in stock and ready for immediate shipment. You can expect either a call or an email with the current days stock availability in your requested size(s).

September 2000 - Jack's Shoes published their website on the World Wide Web.
